This is something I read on a sign of a church as we were coming home the other day. I stopped and thought to myself man did i miss the mark or what? That really got me to thinking. I know where I would be but some of my family members I am just not sure about. as I was pondering this I was readin in my bible about the end times and here is a scriputre that i feels ties in with this it is Matthew 24:40-44

40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

42“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
43But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
44So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

These verses really got me to thinking. Could you imagine if you were working in a field and the other guy beside you just disappeared and you were left behind that would be scary. This has really caused me to just stop and do some soul search of my own. I begin to just pray that like others have said that i would just die to myself and just really live for the lord. Through all FYM teams we will able to help reach lost souls so others will not miss the mark. Do you know where you will be when God comes?

  1. Awesome Chad. Thank you for sharing your thoughts because as I go on with my day now, I know that that question will be in my mind and in my heart.

  2. Where will I be? I will be in heaven. But the question I ask is “Who will be there with me?” Have I shared the greatest gift that I have ever been given with everyone? Do I live like there is not another 5 minutes?

    Great thoughts, Chad!

  3. Wow~ I love those things they write on the boards outside of churches. They can really make you think. Thanks for sharing this one, it really made me think.
