This summer I will be heading up to North dakota for summer camp. I will be on staff there for two months. I very exicted about this adventure and can;t wait to see what God has in store for me. I do need pray though because i am very nervous about being a counselor during youth camp because i feel like i connect better with younger children .I am ready for the challenges though. A word of advice from a former camp counselor when it comes to the youth. It is far easier to be a friend or a buddy, when what they need much more is a leader and a role model. (Not to say you shouldn’t be their friend. Just don’t ignore one for the sake of the other.)
